Joyce Averils is the President/CEO of She’s Got Potential,
Inc., a coaching, speaking and training company which focuses
on the personal and professional development of women and
girls. She holds certifications as a coach, training generalist,
diversity trainer and teleclass leader. She has presented
programs for federal, state and local governments, as well
as churches and schools.
Ms. Averils is also the founder of three non-profits which
includes a teaching and speaking ministry for women, an
organization focused on training African American girls and
an international
training organization for women entrepreneurs.
Ms. Averils holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political
Science from the University of South Carolina-Columbia
and a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz
College
of Law. After a 24 year legal career, the past fourteen
as a judge, she is now retired and focused on full-time speaking,
writing and training women and girls.
