Andrea Smith-Hudson is President and Founder of the Smith-Hudson Group, a coaching a training company committed to personal development and professional excellence.  Mrs. Smith- Hudson has over 10 years of customer service experience working in both the telecommunications industry as well as the financial industry.  She is on the Board of Directors of the Hanover Homecoming Foundation, a nonprofit and non-governmental organization, whose founding members consist of both expatriates and children of expatriates from Hanover, Jamaica. 

As a member of the Hanover Homecoming Foundation, Andrea is making positive contributions towards the improvement of the social and economic conditions in the community of Hanover, Jamaica. Furthermore, she assisted the foundation in establishing an education and development fund for the people of Hanover, Jamaica.

In the telecommunication industry, Mrs. Smith-Hudson worked as a telecommunications specialist on the Call Calibration/Training Team at Verizon Communications where she enhanced customer satisfaction and quality as leader in the Global outsourcing initiative in the Philippines.  She designed techniques to identify gaps in service delivery and recommended viable solutions to senior management.  Her professional experience also included work with the State Corporation Commission (SCC) where she was responsible for ensuring certified local telecommunications companies complied with tariffs. 

Andrea’s academic achievements include both a BS and MBA in Economics and Finance, and she is a certified trainer specializing in Diversity.  Andrea is also a member of the Professional Woman’s Network (PWN).
